Zella Gifford
January 2, 1939 — May 8, 2007
Zella Ann Gifford, has passed on to spend eternity with her Lord and Savior, after a lengthy illness. She passed in her home surrounded by her family on May 8, 2007.
She was born on January 2, 1939, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She moved to New Mexico with her family in 1954 where she met her husband, Allen. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She enjoyed playing and singing in church to honor her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She loved babies and children and babysat for her friends and neighbors giving the children tender loving care at all times.
Zella was preceded in death by her mother, father a sister and many brothers of the Hitchcock family.
She is survived by her husband and life time friend and companion, Allen Gifford Jr.; her son Michael Gifford and wife Connie; her daughter Dottie Gifford; her son Jerry Gifford and fiance Lori Day; her daughter Debbie Pezoldt and husband Doug; her daughter LaDonna Gifford and friend Albie Gurule; and proclaimed daughter Sandra Strickland. Grandchildren are Priscilla Wasilio and husband Johnny, Randy Gifford and wife Bonnie, Ryan Gifford, Chelsea Gifford, Amber Tapia, Anthony Tapia, Cody Wagoner, Mandy Wagoner, Chase Cordova, Matt Pezoldt, Erin Pezoldt, Michelle Gifford, Tasha Sanchez, Alisea Gutierrez, and one great-grand daughter Jasmine and one living sibling, Dottie Hill and husband Ray.
Visitation will be held on Friday-May 11, 2007-7:00 PM at The Truth, The Way and The Life Ministries in Grants, New Mexico.
Funeral services will be on May 12 , 2007 at The Way,The Truth and The Life Ministries at 10 :00AM.
Burial Services will follow at Pioneer Memorial Park in Bluewater, NM.
Pallbearers will be: Cody Wagoner, Jerry Gifford, Bokey Strickland, Matt Pezoldt, Randy Gifford, Ryan Gifford.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Albie Gurule, and Doug Pezodlt
