Winston Gordon Spencer, a beloved firefighter, devoted husband, and extraordinary father, departed this life on January 30, 2025, at the age of 32. Born on April 7, 1992, Winston lived a life rich in love, adventure, and service, always embodying the spirit of dedication in every role he embraced.
Winston was known not only for his courageous endeavors as a firefighter but also for his unwavering commitment to his family, who he cherished above all else. His wife, Kimberly, and their three daughters were the light of his life, inspiring him each day to embody the virtues of kindness, strength, and resilience. Winston was, without a doubt, the most amazing husband and father, fostering an environment filled with love and laughter, where memories were made, and bonds grew ever stronger.
Outside of work, Winston found solace and joy in the great outdoors. He was often drawn to the serenity of fishing, relishing any opportunity to cast a line into tranquil waters. Whether it was shooting at the range on weekends, or indulging his interests in hunting, mechanics, and cooking, each experience bore witness to his zest for life and the passions that enriched his days. He was not merely surviving; he was truly living, surrounded by the raw beauty of nature and the warmth of familial affection.
In the tapestry of his life, Winston was the cornerstone, a guiding light to those fortunate enough to know him. His personality radiated warmth, and his infectious laughter filled rooms with joy. Family was his whole world, encapsulating the essence of his being. He leaves behind his loving wife, Kimberly, and their three adoring daughters, as well as his cherished parents, Phillip and Debbie Spencer, who, along with two brothers and four sisters, will forever carry his spirit forward.
Winston was preceded in death by his grandparents, whose loving legacy has undoubtedly influenced the man he became.
A funeral service celebrating Winston's remarkable life will be held on February 8, 2025, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 1010 Bondad Ave, Grants, NM, beginning at 10:00 AM. Following the service, he will be laid to rest at Cemetery Road in Bluewater, NM, at 11:15 AM.
Though he has left this earthly realm, Winston Gordon Spencer’s legacy of love, family, and adventure will endure in the hearts of many. His memory will forever remain a beacon of inspiration, shining brightly in the lives he touched.
