Funeral Services for William "Bill" Tate 76, of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Saturday-January 18, 2014-11:00 AM at the Grace Baptist Church in Milan, New Mexico. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park with full Military Honors. Pastor Dale Thatcher will officiate.
Visitation will be held on Friday-January 17, 2014 from 5:30PM till 7:30 PM at the Grace Baptist Church. He was a Veteran of the US Navy.
Bill was born on November 11, 1937 in Jefferson, Iowa and he passed away on January 14, 2014 in Grants, New Mexico. He and his wife formely owned the Milan Bottle Company.
He is survived by his loving wife: Carole Tate of Grants, New Mexico; son: William Ricardo Tate and wife Christine of Virginia Beach, Virginia; Daughter: Victoria Brantley of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Brother: Larry Tate and wife Rowena of Silver City, New Mexico; Grandchildren: Michael Brantley and wife Amanda of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Katlyn Brantley of Grants, New Mexico, Nicholas Brantley of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Tabitha Tate of Virginia Beach, Virginia.
He is preceded in death by his Parents: William P. Tate and Virginia Burnell Tate; Sister: Jean Heth.
Pallbearers will be: Able Ortega, Jurgen Wollweber, Michael Brantley, Nicolas Brantley, Mel Simpson, Jeff Simpson, Ryan Thatcher.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Lynn Head, Dale Copeland, Clyde Clark, Lawrence Brantley, Don Day, Don Sweeney, Cotton Jarrell
