Funeral Mass for William J. Archuleta 63, of San Rafael, New Mexico will be held on Wednesday-June 16, 2010-10:00 AM at the San Rafael Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the San Rafael Community Cemetery.
A rosary will be held on Tuesday-June 15, 2010-7:00 PM at San Rafael Catholic Church.
William was born on July 8, 1946 in Miami, New Mexico and he passed away on June 11, 2010 in Grants, New Mexico.
At the age of 19 he entered the Job Corp. In 1966 he moved to Grants where he met his wife Emma Apodaca who he then married on July 30, 1966. They were happily married until his death.
He worked for the Drillers in 1967. He was a carpenter and worked for Salazar Quality Construction for 14 years where he loved being with his co-workers and working hard. William was a great man with a good kind heart. He loved his wife and family dearly. His grandchildren were his life, they kept him on his toes. William was a man that anyone could call for help and he was there.
He is survived by his loving wife: Emma Archuleta of San Rafael, New Mexico; Children: Billy Archuleta and wife Bonnie of San Rafael, New Mexico, JoeJoe Archuleta of San Rafael, New Mexico and Anthony Maestas and wife Monique of Grants, New Mexico; Brothers: John Henry Archuleta and wife Mary of Roswell, New Mexico, Paul Romero and wife Susie of Roswell, New Mexico; Sisters: Connie Hoajaques and husband Jim of Roswell, New Mexico, Judy Romero of Roswell, New Mexico and Annie Rodriguez and husband Alvado of Roswell, New Mexico; 8 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his mother: Sophia Archuleta and Daughter: Brenda Archuleta.
Pallbearers will be: Ronald Archuleta, John Henry Archuleta, Leroy Guara, Paul Romero, Johnny Valdez, Nestor Apodaca, Estevan Eylicio and Chris Archuleta.
Honorary Pallbearers: Tony Archuleta, Ryan Archuleta, Brenda Archuleta, Anthony Archuleta, William Archuleta, III, Cassandra Archuleta, Chris Archuleta, Jr., Juanito Archuleta and all his Nephews and Nieces.
