Funeral Mass for Wilfred "Willie" Salazar, Sr., 50, of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Tuesday-February 13, 2007-10:00 AM at St. Teresa of Avilla Catholic Church. Father Alberto Avella will be the Celebrant. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park.
A Rosary will be recited on Monday-February 12, 2007-7:00 PM at Compassion Mortuary.
Willie was born on July 13, 1956 in Grants, New Mexico and passed away on February 9, 2007.
He is survived by his mother: Delfina Gurule Mirabal, of Grants, New Mexico; Son; Wilfred Salazar, Jr. of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Sisters: Gale Jaramillo of Grants, New Mexico, Prescilla Salazar of Raton, New Mexico, Tita Valdez of San Rafael, New Mexico, Clara Lindquist of Phoenix, Arizona and Debi Gallegos of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Brother: Anthony Salazar of Milan New Mexico; 2 Grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his Biological Father: David Salazar; Father: Reynaldo Mirabal; Brother: Harold Salazar; Grandparents: Alex Gurule, Lizardo Salazar, and Florentina Salazar; and Nephew: Bryan Valdez.
Pallbearers: Archie Salazar, Freddie Valdez, Frankie Valdez, Phillip Martinez, Steven Jaramillo, Manuel Sarracino.
Honorary Pallbearers: All Nephews and Nieces and Grandchildren.
