Funeral Service for Warren "Maxey" J. Maxey 86 of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Friday-October 14, 2016-10:00 AM at Compassion Mortuary. Burial will be held on Friday-October 14, 2016-3:00 PM at the Cubero Community Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Friday-October 14, 2016 from 9:00 AM till 10:00 AM at Compassion Mortuary.
Warren passed away on Saturday October 8, 2016. He was born to Franklin Maxey and Winnie Bell (Jackson) Maxey on June 5, 1930 in Cedarville Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 52 years Della Maxey; great-grandson's Tristen Mitchell Chavez, Skylar Ryan Chavez, Cameron Lane Valdo; parents Franklin and Winnie Bell (Jackson) Maxey.
He is survived by his 3 children, Frank Maxey, Lee Ann Burress (Bruce), Mike (Shelly) Maxey; 9 grandchildren: Floyd "Levi" Burress, Madalene Hardy, Meagan Maxey, Warren W. Maxey, Hillary Habiger, Joshua F. Maxey, Mike Maxey, Anna R. Maxey and Hunter Maxey, 13 great-grandchildren. Sister-in-law Mary Ann Jaramillo (Eloy) Brother-in-law Lato Sena, and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be: Bobby Rougemont, Ben Lopez, Terry Jaramillo, Ernest Serna, Eddie Martinez, Eric Chavez.
Honorary Pallbearers will be all of his nieces and nephews.
