Warren Bell

November 18, 1930 — December 10, 2008

Funeral Services for Warren J. Bell, 78 of Milan, New Mexico will be held on Saturday-December 13, 2008-9:30 AM at the Grace Baptist Church in Milan, New Mexico. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park. Pastor Dale Thatcher will officiate.



Visitation will be held on Friday-December 12, 2008-7:00-8:30 PM at the Grace Baptist Church in Milan, New Mexico.



Mr. Bell was born on November 18, 1930 in Thayer, West Virginia and entered into Eternal Life on December 10, 2008 in Milan, New Mexico after a long illness. He was retired from Homestake Mines.



He was a resident o Grants-Milan for 49 years after coming from West Virginia to work in the Uranium Mines for 29 years. He also served as interim Pastor of Faith Baptist Mission form 2006-2007. He was a member of the Grace Baptist Church.



He is survived by his wife of 56 years Gypsy Bell of the family home in Milan, New Mexico; Daughters: Debra Ratliff and husband John of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Sharon Garrobo of Farmington, New Mexico, and Colleen Norris and husband Roger of Summerville, South Carolina; Sisters: Mildred Alderman of Bluewater, New Mexico, Joan Walker of Crab Orchard, West Virginia and Connie Bruce and husband John of Lavonia, Georgia; Brother: An Drew Bell and wife Opal of Charlottesville, Virginia; 10 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.



He is preceded in death by his parents: Walter Bell and Martha Bell; Sister: Marion Kennard; Brothers: Emory "Preacher" Bell and Quentin "Pete" Bell.



Pallbearers will be: Allen Moore, Ryan Thatcher, Ray Clemons, Clinton Moore, Carl Russell, and Mike Gifford.



Honorary pallbearers will be: Ken Poteet, Dave Hardway, Mike Forman, and Joe Griego.
