Funeral Mass for Virginia Gloria Salazar, 60, of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Monday-July 3, 2006-11:00 AM at the St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church in Grants, New Mexico. Father Matthew Keller will be the celebrant. Burial will follow at the San Mateo Community Cemetery.



A rosary will be recited on Sunday-July 02, 2006-7:00 PM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.



Ms. Salazar was born August 31, 1945 in San Mateo, New Mexico and passed away on June 29, 2006 in Grants, New Mexico. She was employed as a Caregiver with Home Health Care.



She is survived by her children: Edward and wife, Sonya Salazar of Grants, New Mexico, Henry and wife Diane Salazar of Grants, New Mexico, Walter and wife Loretta Salazar of Yuma, Arizona, Karen and husband, Pete Chavez of Winnemucca, Nevada, Sharon and husband, Ben Gutierrez of Elko, Nevada, and LeeAnn and husband Matt Chavez of Grants, New Mexico; Sister: Patricia Sandoval of San Mateo, New Mexico; Brothers: Benny Salazar of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Herman Salazar of San Mateo, New Mexico, Edwin Salazar of Milan, New Mexico; 17 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren.



She is preceded in death by her husband: Lee Reyes Salazar; Parents: Lizardo and Florentina Martinez Salazar; Sisters: Maggie Baca, Rita Martinez, Pricilla Salazar; Brothers: Ramon Salazar, Remijo Salazar and David Salazar.



Pallbearers will be:Anthony Lopez, Daniel Lopez, Matthew Salazar, Walter Salazar, Harold Salazar, Julian Salazar, Reyes Salazar, and Lee Salazar.



Honorary Pallbearers will be all of her Grandchildren.
