Services for Vilia A. Montano, 93, of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Wednesday-January 18, 2006-10:00 AM at Compassion Mortuary. Pastor Clemente Saavedra will officiate. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park.
A Prayer Service will be held on Tuesday-January 17, 2006 - 7:00 PM at Compassion Mortuary.
Mrs. Montano was born September 22, 1912 in San Mateo, New Mexico and passed away on January 14, 2006 in Grants, New Mexico. She was a member of the Spanish Assembly of God Church in Grants and was very dedicated to her church.
She is survived by her children: Onofre Molina of Veguita, New Mexico, Trinnie Marquez of Milan, New Mexico, Margaret Saavedra of Grants, New Mexico, Charlie Montano of Belen, New Mexico, Henry Montano of Grants, New Mexico, Clarence Montano of Milan, New Mexico, Seferino Montano of California and Frank Montano of Grants, New Mexico; 27 Grandchildren, 79 Great Grandchildren and 26 Great Great Grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Eufemio Montano, Parents: Tranquilino and Virginia Anzures; Sons: Manuel Montano and Flavio Montano; Sisters: Benita Barela, Aurelia Perea and Senida Salazar; Brothers: Marcos Anzures, Lato Anzures and Onesimo Anzures.
Pallbearers will be: Edward Saavedra, Manuel marquez
, Debra Lopez, Eufemio Molina Sylvia Rodriguez, and Rick Montano.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: all of her Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren.
