Funeral Services for Verna Mae Ljunggren, 71,of Mesita, New Mexico will be held on Wednesday-December 21, 2005-1:00 PM at the Laguna-Acoma Baptist Indian Mission in Budeville, New Mexico. Pastor Richard Delores and Brother Frank Williams will officiate. A second funeral will be held at the Church of Christ, Teton, Idaho on Friday-December 23, 2005-1:00 PM with Visitation 1 hour before the Service. Burial will follow at the Teton Cemetery, Teton, Idaho.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday-December 21, 2005 from 12:00 -1:00 PM at the Laguna-Acoma Baptist Indian Mission.
Mrs. Lyunggren was born November 17, 1934 in Mesita, New Mexico and passed away on December 20, 2005 in Mesita, New Mexico. She was a Veteran of the US Marines.
She is survived by her husband: Karl Ljunggren of Mesita, New Mexico; Children Brian Ljunggren of Fountain, Colorado, Sandy Swensen of Elko, Nevada, Karen Thompson of St. Anthony, Idaho, Geraldine Farley of St. Anthony, Idaho and Cynthia Swensen of Teton, Idaho; Sisters: Norma Stevens of Palm Springs, California, Bobby Luarkie of San Francisco, California, Jan Blatchford of Mesita, New Mexico, Caroline Thomas, Juanita Thomas both of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Mildred Cheromiah of Mesita, New Mexico; 21 Grandchildren and 22 Great Grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Frank Thomas and Mary Cheromiah Thomas; Brother: Fred Thomas and a sister: Catherine Lucero.
Pallbearers will be: Josh Potter, Keith Thompson, Karl Swensen, Kory Farley, Matt Swensen, Derrik Swensen, and Aaron Swensen, Jr.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Brian Lyunggren, Todd Farley, Daniel Thompson, Timothy Swensen and Aaron Swensen, Sr.
