Funeral Services for Vera Martin 54, of Shiprock, New Mexico will be held on Saturday-September 29, 2012-10:00 AM at the Good Shepherd Mission in Standing Rock, New Mexico. Burial will follow on Private Family Land. Pastor Niel Forrester will officiate.
Vera was born on April 12, 1958 in Nageezi, New Mexico and she passed away on September 21, 2012 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
She is survived by her husband: Gilbert Martin of Shiprock, New Mexico; Son: Therman Martin of Shiprock, New Mexico; Daughters: Varissa Benally of Las Cruces, New Mexico and Elizabeth Martin of Shiprock, New Mexico; Mother: Bessie Yazzie Werito of Chaco Canyon, New Mexico; Brothers: Wayne Werito of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Benson Werito of Nageezi, New Mexico, Ronnie Werito of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Sisters: Wilma Lawrence of Sal Lake City, Utah, Bert Dennison of Bloomfield, New Mexico and Brenda Willie of Nageezi,New Mexico and Grandchild: Miles Martin of Shiprock, New Mexico.
She is preceded in death by her Father: Neilwood Werito; Brother: Calvin Werito.
