Funeral Services for Tony R. Billie, 66, of Crownpoint, New Mexico will be held on Thursday-August 4, 2005 - 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints in Crownpoint, New Mexico. Visitation will be held form 10:00 - 11:00 AM at the Church before the Funeral. Burial will follow at the Crownpoint Cemetery with full Military Honors.



Tony was born on April 11, 1939 into the Towering House People and for the Water Flows Together People in Crownpoint, New Mexico and passed away on July 31, 2005 in Crownpoint, New Mexico, He was a veteran of the US Army serving during the Vietnam Conflict.



He is survived by his wife of 41 years: Mae E. Perry Billie of Crownpoint, New Mexico; Son: Deon Billie of Crownpoint, New Mexico; Daughters: LaVonda Arthur of Standing Rock, New Mexico, Tonita Billie of Standing Rock, New Mexico, and Rita Becenti of Crownpoint, New Mexico; Sisters: Ida Mae Cause of Crownpoint, New Mexico, Emma Castillo of Standing Rock, New Mexico and Loretta Billie of Standing Rock, New Mexico; Brothers: Emmerson Billie, Sr. of Standing Rock, New Mexico, William Billie of Gallup, New Mexico and Harry Billie of Thoreau, New Mexico, 10 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.



He is preceded in death by his parents: Sam Billie, SR. and Esther Yazzie Billie; Daughter: Amanda Billie; Sister Alice Billie; Brothers: Sam Billie, Jr., Jimmie Billie and Lindy Billie, Sr.



Pallbearers will be: Lindy Billy, Jr., Leroy Billy, Villiani Tom, Felix Arthur, Emery Billy, and Gary Music.



Honorary Pallbearers: Deon T. Billie, Harry Billy, Emerson Billy, William Billy.
