Rosary and Funeral Mass for Steven Fidel Otero, 55 of San Fidel, New Mexico will be held on Friday-October 3, 2008-9:30 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in San Fidel, New Mexico. Burial will follow at the San Fidel Community Cemetery. Father Don will be the Celebrant.



Visitation will be held from 9:00-9:30 at the Church on Friday-October 3, 2008.



Steven was born on September 12, 1953 in San Fidel, New Mexico and passed away on September 30, 2008 in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.



He is survived by his mother: Helen Sandoval Otero of San Fidel, New Mexico; Children: Cassandra Williams of Las Vegas, Nevada, Olivia Salazar and husband Anthony of Cubero, New Mexico, Pearl Otero of Anzac, New Mexico, Issac Otero of San Fidel, New Mexico, Jessica Chino of Phoenix, Arizona, Joseph Chino of Phoenix, Arizona, Bianca Chino of Phoenix, Arizona, Stephen Chino of Phoenix, Arizona; Sisters: Helen Rice and husband Lucian of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Florita Garcia of Los Lunas, New Mexico, Delphina Romero and husband Floyd of Espanola, New Mexico, Mary Jean Otero of San Fidel, New Mexico and Mary Helen Lopez of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Brothers: Candido Otero of San Fidel, New Mexico, Victor Otero and wife Olga of San Fidel, New Mexico and Robert Otero of San Fidel, New Mexico; Sister in law: Dorie Otero of Cubero, New Mexico; 9 Grandchildren.



He is preceded in death by his fatherL Elfego Otero and Brother: Richard Otero.



Pallbearers will be: Carlos Otero, Fabian Otero, Gabriel Otero, Antonio Gonzales, Julio Rice and Dabino Romero.
