Scotty was born on November 12, 1961 and he passed away on September 10, 2019 in Prewitt, New Mexico.

He is survived by his Children: Scotty Roy Platero, III and Ryan Platero both of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Bonnie Viloria of Los Lunas, New Mexico; Brothers: Scottin Platero, Jason Platero, Kevin Platero and Michael Calladitto; Sisters: Bettina Gonzalez, Afton Sells and Zetta Lawrence; 8 Grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his Parents: Sottty Roy Platero, Sr. and Betty "Delgarito" Platero.

Pallbearers will be: Scotty Roy Platero, III, Ryan Scott Platero, Scottin Rydell Platero, Jr. , Ian Viloria,Ethan Viloria, Kaleb Viloria
