Salvador Allison Trejo, affectionately known as Sal, was born on February 18, 1948, in Silver City, New Mexico, and passed away on May 29, 2023. Sal was a funny, witty, dedicated, and smart man who touched the lives of many with his unique qualities and accomplishments. As a devout Catholic, Sal found inspiration in the verse, "Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things." (1 Corinthians 13:7).
Salvador spent most of his life in Grants, New Mexico, where he was a well-respected mechanic in the industrial field. He was known for his excellent work ethic and dedication, ensuring that his family was always provided for. In his free time, Sal enjoyed fishing, listening to Spanish music, and attending Sunday sermons by Pastor Moore. Above all, he cherished spending quality time with his family and friends.
Sal is survived by his brothers Tony Trejo and Fred Trejo and also by his children Salvador Trejo, Diana Trejo, Nancy Trejo, Beatrice Coleman-Trejo, Rebecca Trejo, Mark Trejo, Felicia Valles, and Johanna Trejo, Regina Newman, Rudy gorman, Roman Gorman and Rachel gorman and also several grand children and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nora and Joe Trejo; his son, Joe Trejo; and his brothers, Robert, Joe, and Ray Trejo. Sal's memory will live on in the hearts of his loved ones, who will remember him as a loving father, brother, and friend.
