Memorial Services for Russell W. Tietz 84, of Grants, NM will be held on Wednesday-October 22, 2014 at Compassion Mortuary. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park.
Russell was born on September 2, 1930 in Mitchell, South Dakota and he was a longtime resident of Grants and went home to join his wife with our father on October 15, 2014 in Grants, New Mexico.
He is survived by his children: Lauri Tietz of Albuquerque, NM, Cindy Tietz of Albuquerque, NM, Tim Tietz and wife Jen of Layton, Utah; 7 Grandchildren: Antoinette, Donovan, Jennifer, Chris, Taylor, McKinnon and Marissa and 5 Great Grandchildren: Monica, Nathaniel, Xavier, Jacob and Jordan.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years RoseMary Tietz on February 23, 2010; Parents: Elmer Tietz and Myrtle Smith Tietz.
