Funeral services for Russell Willard Blaisdell, 76, of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Saturday-May 24, 2008-2:00 PM at the Temple of Peace in Milan, New Mexico. Burial will follow at the Cajon Community Cemetery in Cajon, Colorado.
Mr. Blaisdell was born on June 6, 1931 in Cortez, Colorado and passed away on May 21, 2008 in Grants, New Mexico. He was a retired Uranium Miner and a member of the Temple of Peace.
He is survived by his wife: Lettie Eaton Blaisdell of Grants, New Mexico; Children: Janice Welsch and husband Butch of Grants, New Mexico, and Russell Edward Blaisdell and wife Corrie of San Diego, California; 6 Grandchildren 12 Great Grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Gerald Blaisdell and Hazel James Blaisdell; Daughter: Darlene Gail Rhoderick; Brothers: Lloyd Blaisdell, Lyle Blaisdell and Charles Blaisdell.
