Rosary and Funeral Mass for Ruben Lemus 65, of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Saturday-September 18, 2010-9:30 AM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Burial will be held in the Phoenix Area at a later date. The Very Rev. Alberto Avella will be the Celebrant.

Visitation will be held on Friday-Sepember 17, 2010-3:00 PM-7:00 PM at Compassion Mortuary.

Mr. Lemus was born on May 16, 1945 in San Martin de Bolanos, Jalisco, Mexico and he passed away on September 14, 2010 in Gallup, New Mexico. He was retired from the Union Pacific Rail Road.

He is survived by his loving wife: Viola Lemus of Grants, New Mexico; Children: Ruben Lemus, Jr. of Mesa, Arizona, Richard Lemus of Mesa, Arizona, Angel Lemus of Grants, New Mexico, Ruby Piedra of Apache Junction, Arizona, Rae Jessica Pacheco of Grants, New Mexico and Rosie Verdugo of Mesa, Arizona and 16 Grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Frutoso Lemus and Aurelia Lemus.

Pallbearers will be: Sergio Piedra, Martin Verdugo, Silvino Pacheco, Angel Lemus, Sergio Lemus and Jesse Lemus
