Funeral Services for Rose Shorty 54, of Milan, New Mexico will be held on Friday-August 27, 2010-10:00 AM at Compassion Mortuary. Pastor Glenn Marshall will officiate. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park.
Rose was born on October 12, 1955 in Rehoboth, New Mexico and she passed away on August 23, 2010 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was employeed at Motel 6.
She is survived by her Mother: Elizabeth Long Platero of Prewitt, New Mexico; Sister: Mary Werito of Prewitt, New Mexico; Brothers: Lee Shorty of Prewitt, New Meixco and Benny Pablo of Milan, New Mexico and her companion: Albert Martinez.
She is preceded in death by her father: Herbert Shorty, Sister: Rena Shorty-Plummer.
Pallbearers will be: Gerald Plummer, Virgil Plummer, Lawrence Platero, Lee Shorty, Sampson Werito and Terry Werito.
Alternate Pallbearers will be: Jason Werito and Timson Werito.
