Funeral Mass for Rosalio Torrez 81, of San Rafael, New Mexico will be held on Friday-January 30, 2009-10:00 AM at the San Rafael Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the San Rafael Community Cemetery. The Very Rev. Alberto Avella will be the Celebrant.



A Rosary will be held on Thursday-January 29, 2009-7:00 PM at the San Rafael Catholic Church.



Rosalio was born on March 29, 1927 in San Rafael, New Mexico and passed away on January 27, 2009.



He is survived by his children: Teresa Marquez and husband Mario of San Rafael, New Mexico, Clifford Torrez and wife Angela of San Rafael, New Mexico, Elmer Torrez and companion Nicoll Goltz of San Rafael, New Mexico, Leo Torrez, Jr. and wife Cheryl of San Rafael, New Mexico, Joey Torrez and wife Norina of Milan, New Mexico, Jason Torrez of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Jacob Torrez and wife Bernadine of Grants, New Mexico, Patricia Torrez of Grants, New Mexico, Brenda Gonzales and companion Zeke Gonzales, Jr. of Gallup, New Mexico, Celine Vigil and husband Danny of Grants, New Mexico and Debbie Jaramillo and husband Joseph of Winnemucca, Nevada; Sisters: Ernestina Castillo of Grants, New Mexico, Mary Archunde of Phoenix, Arizona; Brother: Ramon Torrez of San Rafael, New Mexico; 24 Grandchildren and 20 Great Grandchildren.



He is preceded in death by his wife: Dora M. Torrez; Parents: Leondro Torrez and Concepcion Padilla Torrez; Brothers: Leonard Torrez, Ronnie Torrez and Alejandro Torrez; Sister: Juanita Zuniga; Grandson Clifford Torrez, Jr. and Son in Law: Tim Duran, Jr.



Pallbearers will be: Mario Jose Marquez, Louie Palacios, RJ Lopez, DJ Vigil, Ashley Jaramillo, Vanessa Torrez and Zeke Gonzales, III.



Honorary Pallbearers will be: all of his Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
