Funeral Mass for Ronnie Dougan "Eaves" Methvin 70, of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Saturday-October 25, 2014-12:30 PM at St Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Grants Memorial Park. Very Rev. Alberto Avella will officiate.
Ronnie was born on August 31, 1944 in Brady, Texas and he passed away peacefully with his family by his side on October 21, 2014 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
He is survived by his loving wife: Cecilia Thigpen Methvin of Grants, New Mexico; Daughters: Rhonda Methvin of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Kelly Methvin-Ray of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Angie Purvis of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Sister: Charlotte "Sugar" Klutey of Bluewater, New Mexico; Nieces: Christy Klutey of Bluewater, New Mexico and Vicky Darby of Las Vegas, Nevada; Great Niece: Alicea Darby of Bluewater, New Mexico; Great Nephew: Dustin Darby of El Paso, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his Father: Doug Methvin; and his parents: Dorothy Marie and Hamp Eaves.
Pallbearers will be: Scotty Thigpen, Bob Simpson, Robert Cook,, Emilio Montoya, Dustin Darby, Buddy Kiser.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Jay Mobley, Howard Reidman, Blaine Kiser.
