Memorial Services for Roberta Terri Newsom 67, of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Tuesday-May 10, 2011-1:00 PM at Compassion Mortuary.
Terri was born on Dec. 5, 1943, in Colorado Springs, Colo., and passed away on May 4, 2011, in Grants.
A retired nurse, Terri had a zest for life. She loved camping, fishing and her family. She loved the staff and residents of Grants Good Samaritan Center. She is loved and will be missed.
She is survived by her daughter: Debra and Richard Stevenson of Grants; grandchildren: Virginia Kelley, Amber Stevenson and Cody Stevenson; great-grandchild: Julian; three brother and three sisters; numerous nieces, nephew and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Robert and Elberta Majors; daughter: Virginia McManus; husband: Weldon F. Newsom.
