Memorial Service for Robert W. Malone, 72 of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Wednesday-March 16, 2016-5:00 PM at the Red Lion Inn in Grants, New Mexico. The family will receive visitors immediately after the service until 8:00 PM.
Robert was born on November 16, 1944 in Gallup, New Mexico and passed away on March 11, 2016 in Grants, New Mexico. Before moving to Grants he was from Gallup. As he was called Bobby by most that knew him. He lived in many places in his life time, but always called the Southwest home.
Bobby worked at the Furniture Warehouse and Rehoboth Hospital and the Cibola General Hospital in Grants. He loved to spend time fishing and was a longtime pool player.
Bobby is survived by his three children which he loved dearly: Robin E. Waller and husband Doug, Loralie M. Benefield and husband Daryl, Robert G. Malone; Mother: Thelma L. Green; Sister: Maureen Brennan; Brothers: Billy G. Malone and wife Minnie, John d. Malone, James R. Malone and Brian J. Malone; 5 Grandchildren, and one great grandchild on the way, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father: Odell J. Malone; Sister: Billie J. Harry.
In lieu of flowers the family ask you make a donation to the Heartland Hospice or your local hospice of you choice in Grants, New Mexico.
