Funeral services for Rita J. Largo, 73, of Gallup, New Mexico will be held on Saturday-June 24, 2006-10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church in Thoreau, New Mexico. Burial will follow at the Thoreau Community Cemetery. Pastor Tom Shelton will officiate.
Ms. Largo was born on January 3, 1933 into the Two Who Came to the Water Clan and for the Towering House People at Smith Lake, New Mexico and passed away on June 20, 2006 in Gallup, New Mexico.
She is survived by her children: Charlotte Largo Valdez of Gallup, New Mexico and Shirley Largo of Gallup, New Mexico; Sisters: Louise Randolph of Thoreau, New Mexico and Ruth Largo of Farmington, New Mexico; Brother; Jones Largo of Thoreau, New Mexico, 5 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Tom Largo and Emma Grey Eyes Largo; Brothers: John Largo, Buck Largo, Jimmie Largo and Daniel largo and a Sister: Marie Delgarito.
Pallbearers will be: Aric Francis, Leanne Valdez, Russell Francis, Lance Begay, Emma Katenay, and Joshua Hall.
Alternate Pallbearers will be: John Largo and Floyd Largo.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Gerald Valdez, Dan B. Largo, Chad Valdez, Calvin Largo, Jones Largo, Arthur Otero, Gregory Hall, Keith Martinez, Jimmie B. Largo, Rev. Nelson McBride, Anthony Largo, Tommy Henio, alvin Largo, Larry Etsitty, and Dale Stevenson.
