Services for Richard Lee Medlin 84, of Quemado, New Mexico will be held on Friday-July 1, 2011-2:00 PM at the Quemado First Baptist Church in Quemado, New Mexico. Burial will follow at the Forest Hills Cemetery in Quemado, New Mexico.
Richard was born on April 23, 1927 in Chickasha, Oklahoma and he went to be with the Lord on June 22, 2011 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was a retired Pastor of the Gospel and a Carpenter. He was a Veteran of the US Army.
He is survived by his loving wife: Mary Hogg Medlin of Quemado, New Mexico; Daughter: Yvonne Armstrong and husband Jerry of Quemado, New Mexico and sister in law: Jill Medlin of Salisbury, Maryland; 3 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren; he is also survived by his Foster Children: Natalia Mora, Tony Perez, Juan Perez, Andy Perez and Roberto Perez and many Foster Grandchildren and Foster Great Grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Franklin E. Medlin and Ada Mabel Medlin; Twin Sisters and brother: Lynn Paul Medlin; Foster Daughters: Gloria Perez and Jennie Perez.
Pallbearers will be: Jerry Armstrong, Robert Perez, Juan Perez, Larry Armstrong, Kendal Armstrong and James Reid.
