Rhoana Spencer

December 14, 1925 — August 15, 2006

Funeral Services for Rhoana L. Spencer, 80, of Bluewater Village, New Mexico will be held on Saturday-August 19, 2006-11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Grants Stake, 1010 Bondad Ave. Grants, New Mexico. Bishop Henry Holmes will officiate. Burial will follow at the Pioneer Memorial Cemetery in Bluewater Village, New Mexico.



Visitation will be held on Saturday-August 19, 2006-9:00-11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Grants Stake Center, 1010 Bondad Ave. Grants, New Mexico.



Mrs. Spencer was born on December 14, 1925 in Bluewater Village (Valencia County) New Mexico and passed away on August 15, 2006 at Bluewater Village, New Mexico surrounded by her loving family. She was the 5th daughter of 9 children.



Rhoana contributed greatly to the community and church, serving as pianist and organist for 35 years. She was a wonderful example of love and service. She will be deeply missed. Her lessons in life will be cherished and exemplified by those who knew and loved her.



She is survived by Richard, Jr.'s widow, Joleen Spencer, of Bluewater,and their 10 children and spouses and 24 grandchildren, Van and Michelle Spencer of Bluewater, their 5 children and spouses, and 11 grandchildren, Danny and Phillis Spencer of Milan and their 5 children and spouses, Phillip and Debbie Spencer of Bluewater, their 7 children and spouses and 8 grandchildren, Ray and Debbie Spencer of Bluewater, and their 5 children and spouses and grandchildren, Steven and Kay Spencer of Bluewater and their 8 children, David Spencer of Zuni Canyon and his 4 children and grandchild, Stanley and Darla Spencer of Bluewater, and their 6 children, Michael and Jana Spencer of Bluewater and their 5 children; Siblings: Permilia Bunker of Mesa, AZ, Amos and Beth Tietjen of Idaho, Barbara and Anthon Richardson of Mesa, AZ, Ruth and Bob Lowery of Bluewater, Ora Manda and Wallace Sabin of Mesa, AZ, Iris and Francis Bunker of Colorado, Ernest Tietjen of Colorado and many many nieces and nephews.



She is preceded in death by her husband: Richard Dick Spencer, Sr.; Son: Richard Dick Spencer, Jr.; Parents: Amos Tietjen and Barbara Cluf Tietjen; Sister: Genjevie Hassell and 2 granddaughters and one great grandson.
