Memorial Services for Revis Rose, Jr., 58 of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Friday-February 9, 2018-11:00 AM at the New Life Assembly of God on Washington Street Grants. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park.
Revis was born on April 6, 1959 in Grants, New Mexico to Elsie and Revis Rose, Sr. he passed away on January 27, 2018 in Grants, New Mexico.
He was the oldest of 3 Children. He grew up in Grants and graduated from Grants High School. Soon after he enlisted in the US Army. He served in the Army Aviation from 1979 till 1982 during the Vietnam War. He attended military school and worked on Cobra Helicopters.
Revis married Isabel in 1993, they lived in Paonia, Colorado for Nineteen Years.
He enjoyed fishing with his sons, family and friends working on vehicles. He always had a smile. He loved kids and people and was ready to lend a helping hand. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He also enjoyed watching football and wrestling and was a Forty Niners Fan. He worked in the Uranium Mines and Coal Mines for years. He was last employed by the Cibola County Schools as a Custodian, where he loved being around children.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Isabel "Chavez" Rose of the family home; Sons: Aren of Colorado, David and Joseph of Grants, New Mexico; Granddaughter: Hazel; Brother: Ike Rose and his companion Barbara Temple; Sister: Sissy Esquibel and husband David; two nephews, two nieces and numerous loving great Nephews and Nieces.
He is preceded in death by his Parents: Revis Rose, Sr. and Elsie "Kimbler" Ludgate.
He will always carry you memory in our hearts.
