Funeral Mass Service for Rene A. Chavez, 28, of Milan, New Mexico will be held on Monday-September 8, 2008-10:00 AM at St. Vivian's Catholic Church in Milan, New Mexico. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park. The Very Rev. Alberto Avella will be the Celebrant.



A Rosary will be held on Sunday-September 7, 2008-7:00 PM at Compassion Mortuary.



Rene was born on March 13, 1980 in Grants, New Mexico and passed away on September 4, 2008 in Milan, New Mexico. He was a graduate of Grants High School and was employed by C & E Concrete in Grants, New Mexico.



He is survived by his parents: Rene M. Chavez of Milan, New Mexico; Step Mother: Crystal Marez of Milan, New Mexico and Mother: Lorena Monge of Phoenix, Arizona; Daughter: Adriana Chavez of Milan, New Mexico; Sisters: Maria Vasquez of Mesa, Arizona, Patricia Gutierrez of Juarez, Mexico, Nivia Chavez of Phoenix, Arizona and Alejandra Chavez of Mesa, Arizona; Brother: Jaime Ochoa of Mesa, Arizona and Roberto Chavez of Milan, New Mexico.
