Visitation for Raymond Garinger, 80 of Bluewater, New Mexico will be held on Thursday-April 17, 2008-5:00-7:00 PM at Compassion Mortuary.
Burial and graveside services will be held on Friday-April 18, 2009-1:00 PM at the Santa Fe National Cemetery, 501 Guadalupe Street, Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Mr. Garinger was born on March 11, 1928 in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania and passed away on April 15, 2008 in Gallup, New Mexico. He was retired from the Cibola County Sheriffs Department.
He was a veteran of the US Marines serving during World War II.
He is survived by his children: Carol Ledingham and husband Jack of Thoreau, New Mexico and Michael Garinger and wife Dollie of Grants, New Mexico; 4 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife: Dorothy Claire Garinger; Parents: Roy Garinger and Frances Fultz Garinger; Brothers: Albert Garinger and Wesley Garinger; Sisters: Norma Taylor, Hazel Winters and Millie Garinger.
