Funeral Services for Rachel Jaramillo, 68 of Milan, New Mexico will be held on Thursday-April 24, 2008-10:00 AM at the Immanuel Baptist Church in Milan, New Mexico. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park. Pastor Garland Moore will officiate.
Mrs. Jaramillo was born on April 8, 1940 and passed away on April 19, 2008 in Grants, New Mexico. She is retired from the Grants Public Schools where she worked at Sierra Vista and Mt. Taylor Schools. She was a member of the AARP and the New Mexico Teacher Association.
She is survived by her daughter: Tonya Ballew of Milan, New Mexico; Step Daughters: Evelyn Jaramillo and Mildred Jaramillo both of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Sister: Josephine Flores of Las Vegas, New Mexico; Brothers: Tomas Hill of Clovis, California, Rev. Samuel Hill of Stockton, California, and Larry Hill of Sacramento, California; and 5 Grandchildren;
She is preceded in death by her parents: Oscar Hill and Soledad Hill; Sister: Margaret Maes; Brothers: Robert Hill and Eugene Hill.
Pallbearers will be: Robert Ballew, Justin Jaramillo, Robert Ballew, Jr., Jackie Marquez, Michael Marquez, and Mark Garcia.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Petey Sunohano, Jesus Quinones, and Mateo Martinez.
