Procopio Castillo

Services for Procopio Bernardino Castillo, 73 of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Thursday-February 14, 2008-11:00 AM at Compassion Mortuary.



Visitation will be held on Wednesday-February 13, 2008-2:00 PM-6:00 PM at Compassion Mortaury.



A Rosary will be held on Wednesday-February 13, 2008-7:00 PM at Compassion Mortuary.



Procopio was born on December 12, 1934 in San Rafael, New Mexico and he passed away on February 11, 2008 in Grants, New Mexico. He was retired from the City of Grants Fire Department and was a Veteran of Korean Conflict and Vietnam War serving with the US Army for 20 Years.



He is survived by his wife: Hannelore Castillo of Grants, New Mexico; Son: Larry Castillo of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Brothers: David Castillo of Grants, New Mexico, Andy Castillo and wife Irene of Texas, Paul Castillo of San Rafael, New Mexico, Carlos Castillo and wife Chongsun of San Rafael, New Mexico; Sisters: Jennie Barajas and husband Pablo of San Rafael, New Mexico, Susie Harris of San Jose, California, Angelina Ramirez and husband Melesandro of San Rafael, New Mexico, Rose Castillo of Grants, New Mexico.



He is preceded in death by his father: Perfilio Castillo, Mother: Rita Castillo; he was raised by Timoteo and Rafaelita Torrez; Sister: Clara Barajas; Brother: Nestor Castillo.



Pallbearers will be:Paul Castillo, Carlos Castillo, Matthew Castillo, Dave Castillo, Victor Ramirez, Ruben Barajas, Leonard Barajas and Larry Castillo.
