Funeral Mass for Priscilla M. Baca 79, of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Monday-June 4, 2012-10:00 AM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Grants Memorial Park. The Very Rev. Alberto Avila will officiate.
A Rosary will be held on Sunday-June 3, 2012-7:00 PM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.
Priscilla was born on November 15, 1932 in Grants, New Mexico and she passed away on May 30, 3012 in Grants, New Mexico. She married Ismael M. Baca on July 11, 1951 in Grants, New Mexico. She was a devoted member of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church, and a 3rd Order member of St. Francis of Assisi Society. She was a retired Teachers Aide with the Grants Public Schools. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to cook for her family and friends and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving Husband: Ismael M. Baca of Grants, New Mexico; Children: Irene Pena, John Baca and wife Berna, Ernest Baca and wife Patti, Leonard Baca and wife Sonia, Darlene Baca and husband David; Brothers: Raymond Chavez and wife Elsie, Joe H. Chavez and wife Rose Marie; Sister: Tita Deskin; 13 Grandchildren and 20 Great Grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her son: Walter L. Baca; Parents: Joe E. Chavez and Sara Montoya Chavez; Sister: Janie Pomponi; Brothers: Steve Chavez and Cornelus Chavez and Granddaughter Jennifer Baca.
Pallbearers will be: Michael Barboan, Anthony Jaramillo, Bobby Baca, Roger Rodriguez, Robin Salazar, Frank Bercerra, David Baca, John Valdez, Martin "Modey" Hicks, Joshua Baca and Gabriel Baca.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Melanie Lucero, Abryha Barboan, Jessica Baca, Denise Baca, Jami Baca and Alyssa Baca.
