Memorial Mass for Phil Ashley, 43 of Albuquerque and Gallup, New Mexico will be held on Friday-November 7, 2008-10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Cathedral. Very Rev. Lawrence O'Keefe will officiate.
A memorial Rosary will be held on Thursday-November 6, 2008-7:00 PM at Sacred Heart Cathedral. Father Lipinski will officiate.
Phil was born into the Black Streak Wood People and for the
Black Sheep People on May 10, 1965 in Zuni, New Mexico to Leo G. Ashley of Pine Springs, Arizona and Helen Silversmith Ashley of Manuelito, New Mexico and passed away on November 4, 2008 at his home in Albuquerque, New Mexico with his partner Joe Martinez at his side.
He is survived by his Partner: Joe Martinez of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Brothers: Alex Ashley of Gallup, New Mexico, Louis Ashley of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Anthony Ashley of Gallup, New Mexico; Sisters: Priscilla Shirley of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Loretta Ashley of Gallup, New Mexico, and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Leo G. Ashley and Helen Silversmith Ashley.
