Graveside services for Pauline Viles, 80, of Milan, New Mexico will be held on Wednesday-April 26, 206-11:00 AM at the Grants Memorial Park. Deacon Dennis Heppler will officiate.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday-April 25, 2006-12:00-6:00 PM at the Compassion Mortuary.
Pauline was born on July 3, 1925 in Cardin, Oklahoma and passed away on April 23, 2006 at her home in Milan, New Mexico. She attended schools in Picher, Oklahoma and graduated from Miami High School in Oklahoma. She moved to Grants in 1957 and was the Owner of Pauline's Ceramics in Milan for a number of years. She was a devoted Daughter, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister and Friend.
She is survived by her husband whom she married on December 28, 1942: Jack Viles of the family home in Milan, New Mexico; Daughter: Jackie and husband, Raymond Guthrie of Grants, New Mexico; Son: Steve and wife Rose Viles of Mesquite, Texas; Sister Dolores Boyd of Dennison, Texas; 2 Grandchildren: Russell and Mike and wife Dina of Albuquerque, New Mexico and 2 Great Grandchildren: Justin and Casandra and numerous nieces.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Steve Monroe Forister and Mattie Emma Helms Forister.
Pallbearers will be: Lonnie Hawthorne, Russell Guthrie, Michael Guthrie, Tommy Boyd, Art Gebeau, and Ed Craig.
In Lieu of Flowers the family request donations to the Grants Food Bank, 222 E. Stephens, Grants, NM 87020
