Paul Carrillo

April 23, 1935 — October 10, 2006

Mass of Christian Burial for Paul G. "Poli" Carrillo, Sr. 71, of Gallup, New Mexico will be held on Tuesday-October 17, 2006-3:00 PM at Sacred Heart Cathedral. Very Rev. Lawrence O'Keefe will officiate. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.



Viewing will be held at Sacred Heart Cathedral from 2:00-3:00 PM on Tuesday-October 17, 2006.



Mr. Carrillo was born on April 23, 1935 in Albuquerque, New Mexico and passed away on October 9, 2006 in Gallup, New Mexico. He was retired from the UPS as a Delivery Driver and was known as the UPS Man. Paul was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving with the US Navy. He was a member of the AARP and the American Legion, was an avid Rams Fan, Graduated from Cathedral High School and was a member of the Senior Companion Volunteer Program.



He is survived by his wife: Margaret "Margie" Martinez Carrillo of Gallup, Sons: Paul "Tiger"G. Carrillo, Jr. of Long Beach, California, Jimmy Carrillo of Gallup, New Mexico and Chris Carrillo of Gallup, New Mexico.



He is preceded in death by his parents: Paz Carrillo and Dolores Torrez Carrillo; Brother: Rosadio "Toti" Carrillo; Sisters: Dolores Marquez, Josie Carrillo, Maxine Brieno, and Alice Sanchez.



Pallbearers will be: George Martinez, Jr., Johnny Martinez, Frank Martinez, George Martinez, III, Manuel Martinez, and Rick Borbon.



Honorary Pallbearers will be: Paul Lee, Tommy Martinez, Michael Martinez, Eloy "Mojo" Hernandez, Michael Parra, Jacob Manges, all of his co workers from the UPS and many many friends.
