Funeral Services for Patrick P. Shorty, 37 of Crownpoint, New Mexico will be held on Friday-October 17, 2008-10:00 AM at the hosanna Pentecostal Church in Crownpoint, New Mexico . Burial will follow at the Crownpoint Community Cemetery.
Patrick was born into the Towering House People and for the Chiricuhua Apache People Clan on September 21, 1971 and passed away on October 9, 2008 in Gallup, New Mexico.
He is survived by his children: Preston Shorty of Crownpoint, New Mexico, Presley Shorty of Crownpoint, New Mexico, Packard Shorty of Crownpoint, New Mexico and Latrina Shorty of Crownpoint, New Mexico; Parents: Angeline Burnside of Crownpoint, New Mexico and Peterson Shorty of Thoreau, New Mexico; Sisters: Gail Burnside Jenson of Fountain, Colorado and Leona Burnside of Crownpoint, New Mexico; Brother: Shawn Michael Shorty of Littlewater, New Mexico; Grandparents: Annie Burnside and Harry Burnside, Sr. of Crownpoint, New Mexico and Nellie Delgarito of Thoreau, New Mexico.
pallbearers will be: Preston Shorty, Presley Shorty, Nicholas Burnside, Calvie Delgarito, Alfredo Shorty and Leon Chavez.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Packard Shorty, Harry Burnside, Sr., Shawn Shorty, Peterson Shorty, Tommy Largo.
