Memorial Services for P. Steven Thomas, 55, of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Thursday-February 16, 2005-10:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church in Grants. Pastor Rueben Thomas will be the celebrant.
Mr. Thomas was born on July 1, 1950 in Darmstadt, Germany and passed away on February 12,, 2006 in Grants, New Mexico. He was the Librarian Director at the University of New Mexico Grants Campus.
He is survived by his Brother: Thomas Thomas and wife, Mary of Concord, North Carolina; Uncles: John Hanley and Wife Chris of Mesa, Arizona, Ben Thomas and Wife Dottie of Boynton Beach, Florida; Nephew; Brian Thomas of Concord, North Carolina; Nieces: Molly Thomas of Ann Arbor, Michigan, and Melissa Heckman and Husband Tim of Redford, Michigan; Great Nieces: Hannah Heckman and Chole Heckman of Redford, Michigan and Great Nephew Jayden Heckman of Redford, Michigan.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Fredrick and Mary Hanley Thomas.
In lieu of flowers, the family of Steve Thomas has asked that donations be made to the First United Methodist Church of Grants to be used to establish a scholarship fund in Steve's name at New Mexico State University at Grants.
