Funeral Services for Ova Dee Martin 70, of Milan will be held on Tuesday-June 26, 2012-10:00 AM at the Grace Baptist Church in Milan. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park. Pastor Dale Thatcher will officiate.
Visitation will be held on Monday-June 25, 2012 from 5:30 PM till 7:00 PM at Compassion Mortuary.
Ova was born on September 21, 1941 in Missouri and she passed away on June 19, 2012 in Grants, New Mexico.
She was a long time resident of Milan. She was known as the babysitter lady in L & H Trailer Park where she had babysat 14 children a day not counting her three. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother.
She is survived by her children: Wanda Merriman and husband William of Milan, New Mexico, Debbie Bryan and husband Henry of Grants, New Mexico, David Martin of Milan, New Mexico, John T. Martin and companion Samantha Chaves of Milan, New Mexico; Brothers: Jerry Pippin and Gail Pippin; Sisters: Nola May Staffa and Barbara Boam; 6 Grandchildren, 5 Step Grand Children, 4 Great Grandchildren and 5 Step Great Grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Leroy Martin; Parents: Charlie Pippin and Retha Pippin; Brother: Larry Pippin and Sisters: Viloa Starkey and Nadine Karoulis.
Pallbearers will be: Ralphy Martin, John T. Martin, Brian Cain, James Cain, Shawn Bryan and Little John.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Gail Pippin, Christopher Clawson, Bryson Clawson and Chopper Smith.
