Memorial Services for Norman P. Overgaard 72, of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Wednesday-November 2, 2011-1:30 PM at the Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Grants, New Mexico.
Norman was born on March 17, 1939 in Humboldt, Iowa and he passed away on October 27, 2011 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
He has lived in Grants since 1964, after serving in the US Army. He worked at Piggly Wiggley, Homestake Mine Supply Co., Highway Dept and retired from Lee Ranch Coal.
He is survived by his wife : Karen of Grants, New Mexico; Son: Phillip Overgaard of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Sister: Janet Larson and husband LeRoyof Custer,SouthDakota; Brothers: Harold Overgaard and wife Janet of Dakota City, Iowa, Gordon Overgaard and wife Muriel of Fort Dodge, Iowa, Bernell Overgaard and wife Carol of Kearney, Missouri and Numerous Nieces, Nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his Parents: Burnes Overgaard and Rose Warland Overgaard; and 2 Brothers: Richard Overgaard and Lowell Overgaard.
