Funeral Services for Nelle M. Farris 84, of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Friday-July 30, 2010-10:00 AM at Compassion Mortuary. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park. Pastor Dale Thatcher will officiate.
Visitation will be held on Thursday-July 29, 2010-5:00 PM-7:00 PM at Compassion Mortuary.
Nelle was born on September 6, 1925 in Atlanta, Texas and she passed away on July 25, 2010 in Grants, New Mexico.
She is survived by her loving children: Stephen Farris of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Carole Farris of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Sister: Margie Murray of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Quimby "Tink" Farris; Son: Bradford C. Farris; Parents: Charles Madison Gunn and Oma Othelia Gunn; Brothers: Dr. Charles Morris Gunn and George Washington Gunn.
Pallbearers will be: Dale Burns, Todd Burns, Brian Burns, Dwight Kastendieck, Rick Wickerson, Lyndel Smith and Peter Minoletti.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Grants Mainstreet Project, PO Box 337, Grants, New Mexico 87020.
