Services for Natividad "Tivi" C de Baca Jr. 69 of Grants, New Mexico will be held at the Immaculate Conception Church 811 6th Streeet in Las Vegas, NM on Saturday March 21, 2020. Rosary will begin at 9:30 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass with Father George V. Salazar as celebrant. The interment will follow at a later date at Grants Memorial Park in Grants, New Mexico.
Tivi was born on April 9, 1950 in Rock Springs, Wyoming and he passed away on March 3, 2020 in Grants, New Mexico.
Tivi was raised in Las Vegas New Mexico and was a 1968 graduate of Robertson High School where he excelled as the star quarterback of the football team. Following high school graduation Tivi then joined the US Navy and was honorably discharged after 4 years of service. Tivi was an excellent carpenter by trade and worked many years in construction and carpentry. Tivi loved spending time with his family and friends and was always ready to lend a hand to those in need. All who knew him enjoyed having a great conversation with him as Tivi was also ready to listen. Tivi was truly loved and will truly be missed.
Tivi is survived by his daughter ; Denise Barela and husband Chris of Las Vegas, New Mexico; Grandchildren; Jonathon Barela, Kristin Barela, Amanda Barela, and Maria Barela; Great Grandchildren; Elayna Dimas and Jaebriele Barela; Sister; Pamela Chachere and husband Jeff of Grants, New Mexico; Brothers; Don C de Baca and wife Margaret of Las Vegas, New Mexico, Mark C de Baca of Las Vegas, New Mexico, Michael C de Baca and wife Rose of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Nephews; James Chachere, Nathaniel C de Baca, Daniel C de Baca, and Joshua C de Baca; Nieces; Stephanie daw Chachere and husband Genaro Magana, Tammy Mirabal, Kim Chachachere, Dawn Dee C de Baca and Stacey Fulgenzi.
Tivi is preceded in death by his parents; Natividad C de Baca Sr. and Dprothy Jean C de Baca; Grandparents; Filedelpho and Aniceta C de Baca and Lee Balch and Josephine "Putnam" Balch.
