Rosary for Mickiel Kevin Jessome 54 of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Thursday-February 2, 2012-7:00 PM at Compassion Mortuary.
Viewing will be held at the St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church on Friday-February 3, 2012 from 9:20-10:30 with the Funeral Mass to be held at 10:30
Kevin was born April 10th, 1957 in Atikokan, Ontario and he passed away on Sunday surrounded by family due to complications of pneumonia.
He worked most of his life as a top lander / underground miner on several projects around the U.S. including Gulf Mineral Resources in San Mateo, NM.
His hobbies included: collecting coins, music, movies; the outdoors, camping, boating, fishing, and four wheeling
He is survived by his wife Rosanne Jessome of Grants, NM, sons Shawn Jessome of Chicago, IL, and Jeremy Jessome of Albuquerque, NM, mother and step father, Mr. and Mrs. Marcel Rochon of Chicago, IL, sisters, Audrey and husband Scott Bradley of Las Vegas, NV, Shanulea and husband John Vliegenthart of Smithers, B.C., Ashley Jessome of Chicago, IL, and brothers: Barrie Jessome of Chicago, IL. and Billy Jessome of Alberta, Canada.
He was preceded in death by his father Edward "Gus" Jessome.
Pallbearers will be: Jeremy Jessome, Shawn Jessome, Barrie Jessome, Marcel Rochon, "Jiggie" MacKinnon, Scott Bradley, Chris Kennedy and Josh Bradley.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Billy Jessome, Ronnie MacKinnon, Max Kelly, Barrie Morgan, Travis Akins.
