Services for Michael Cordova, Sr. 58, of Milan, New Mexico will be held Friday-March 21, 2008-11:00 AM at the Grace Baptist Church in Milan, New Mexico. Pastor Dale Thatcher will officiate. Burial will take place at a late date in Lumberton, Colorado.
Mr. Cordova was born on February 27, 1950 in Durango, Colorado and passed away on March 13, 2008 in Grants, New Mexico.He was retired from Operating Engineers Local #953 as a heavy equipment operator. He loved spending time outdorrs riding horses, hunting and spending time with his friends and farmily, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by: his wife Josie Cordova of Milan, New Mexico; Son: Michael Cordova, Jr. of Milan, New Mexico: 2 Daughters: Irene Cordova of Milan, New Mexico and Denise Rivera and husband Michael of Milan, New Mexico; He was a grandfather to: Michael, Nicholas, Maggie, Andrea, and Roque Rivera and Michaela Cordova; Brother: Manuel Cordova of Bluewater, New Mexico and Sister: Dodie Cordova of Puyallup, Washington.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Manuel Antonio Cordova and Mary Irene (Read)Cordova; Brother: Horacio Cordova.
Pallbearers will be: His Grandchildren and Manual Cordova, Jr., Shawn Francis, T.J. Swain, Paul Madrid, Dennis Chavez, Carlos Gurule, Jess Fonseca, Jim Stafford, Paul Mitchell, Mario Talamante, Frank Talamante, Larry Castleberry, Eric Bowman and Nick Hernandez
