He was born on ay 17, 1955, to his parents John and Lydia Morlang and passed away on Feb. 1, 2012, from battling dementia.
He is survived by his sons Chris Morlang, Bluewater Village, N.M., Scotty Morlang and wife Lori of Bluewater Village, and Carl Morlang and wife Brenda of Grants, N.M.; sisters Anna Marie Zanin and husband Bob, Golden, Colo., Faith Jmes of California, Donna Lynn Pagone, Hotchkiss, Colo.; brother Matthew Morlang and wife Sarah, Bluewater Village; grandchildren Brett, Jasmine, Fayth, Brennan, Kodi and Angelle and many nieces and nephews.
Melvin was preceded in death by his father John Morlang, mother Lydia Morlang and brothers John Morlang, Ron Morlang and Bob Morlang
