Funeral Services for Melva F. Daugherty, 68 of Thoreau, New Mexico will be held on Friday-March 23, 2007-10:30 AM at the First Baptist Church in Thoreau, New Mexico. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Gallup, New Mexico. Pastor Stan Daugherty will officiate.
Mrs. Daugherty was born on May 14, 1938 in Tucumcari, New Mexico and passed away on March 19, 2007 in Gallup, New Mexico.
She is survived by her children: Stan and wife Margaret Daugherty of Gallup, New Mexico, Steve and wife Barbara Daugherty of Gallup, New Mexico and Scott and wife Ramona Daugherty of Thoreau, New Mexico; 9 Grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Raymond Daugherty; Parents: Milton and Nellie Johnston and a sister: Lanell Roberts.
Pallbearers will be: Kevin Walsh, Jeremy Daugherty, Dean Roberts, Mikey Roberts, Bill Powers, Lance Sharp and Steve Dietz.
