Service for Maxine Florence Long, 77, of Rock Springs, New Mexico will be held on Monday-July 21, 2008-1:00 PM at the Bible Navajo-Wildcat Mission Church in Black Hat, New Mexico. Burial will follow at the Gallup City Cemetery.



Mrs. Long was born on April 30, 1931 in Rehoboth, New Mexico and passed away on July 17, 2008 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She had been a Seamstress most of her life.



She is survived by her daughters: Evangeline Long of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Joanne Long of Rock Springs, New Mexico, Bernadine Wayne of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Leola Long of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Debra Long of Church Rock, New Mexico and Mildred Chavez of Chicago, Illinois; Sons: Lloyd Long of Rock Springs, New Mexico, Roland Long of Rock Springs, New Mexico, Johnny Raymond Talley, Jr. of Luppe, Arizona; Sisters: Grace Parker of manuelito, New Mexico, Jane Becenti of Del Norte, Colorado, Sarah Nez and Judy Dixon of Utah, Gloria Parker of Shiprock, New Mexico, Angeline Bodheimer of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Lillian Miller and Marie Miller of Borrego Pass, New Mexico; Brothers: Lawrence Miller of Denver, Colorado, Louie Miller of Gallup, New Mexico, Bobby Miller of Borrego Pass, New Mexico; 26 Grandchildren and 30 Great Grandchildren.



She is preceded in death by her husband: Leo H. Long; Parents: Max Miller and Irene Adakai Miller; Son: Vernon Long; Brothers: Francis Miller and Donald Miller; sister: LaBerta Parker.



Pallbearers will be: Herman Long, Lawrence Miller, Vicenti Martinez, Jr. Richard Long, Jr., Eugene Charley, Jr. and Chris Castillo.



Honorary Pallbearers will be: Louie Miller, Lloyd Long and Roland Long.
