Funeral Mass for Maxine P. Gutierrez, 55 of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Wednesday-February 8, 2006-10:00 AM at St. Teresa of Avilla Catholic Church in Grants, NM. Fr. Matthew Keller will be the celebrant. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park.
A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday-February 7, 2006-7:00 PM at St. Teresa of Avilla Catholic Church.
Maxine was born April 21, 1950 in Las Vegas , New Mexico and passed away on February 3,2006 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She had just retired from the Grants Public Schools as a Teacher at the Grants High School. She had also taught at the New Mexico State University-Grants Campus.
She is survived by her Children: Christina Gutierrez of Las Lunas, New Mexico and Monica Gutierrez of Grants, New Mexico; Mother: Isabel Mares Abeyta of Grants, New Mexico; Sisters: Erika Abeyta of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Granddaughters: Isabel Pfeiffer of Phoenix, Arizona and Lauren Gutierrez of Grants, New Mexico.
She was preceded in death by her father: Macario Abeyta.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Maxine P. Gutierrez, Theater Building Fund c/o Grants High School.
