Funeral Mass for Max Mirabal, 84 of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Friday-December 19, 2008-10:00 AM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park. The Very Rev. Alberto Avella will be the Celebrant.
A Rosary will be held on Thursday-December 18, 2008-7:00 PM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.
Mr. Mirabal was born on July 12, 1924 in Dener, New Mexico and passed away on December 13, 2008 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
He had Worked for Four Corners exploration, Keer McGee and Cal Construction. He also Ran The Tinaja Bar in El Morro and
Worked with his father earlier on in the Mirabal Mines and Logging. He enjoyed helping people and being around his family.
He is survived by his son Gene Mirabal and wife Connie of Milan, New Mexico; Daughter: Margaret Wilson of Grants, New Mexico; Mother of his children: Vera Mirabal of Grants, New Mexico; his companion: Zenobia Campbell and sons: William and Dave Campbell all of Grants, New Mexico; Daughter in Law: Isabell Mirabal of Las Cruces, New Mexico; Grandchildren: Jory Mirabal and wife Maryann of Magdalena, New Mexico, Juan Mirabal of Los Angeles, California, Sarah Elkins and husband Chesley of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Bill Wilson of Gallup, New Mexico, Annette Mirabal of Las Cruces, New Mexico and Dennise Mirabal of Las Cruces, New Mexico and 14 Great Grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Moises Mirabal and Sarah McDaniel Mirabal; Son: Raymond "Bozo" Mirabal; Brothers: Clifford Mirabal, Clarence Mirabal, Felix Mirabal; Sisters: Stella Salazar and a sister at infancy.
Pallbearers will be: Bill Wilson, Chesley Elkins, Danny Mirabal, William Campbell, Juan Mirabal and Jory Mirabal.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Orren Charlie, Owen Charlie, Sam Wilson, Patrick Breton and all of his nieces and nephews.
