Mrs. Begay was born on December 28, 1942 in Borrego Pass, New Mexico and passed away on May 22, 2008 in Shiprock, New Mexico.
She is survived by her husband: Children: Vicky Brown of Tooele, Utah, Brenda Tom of Littlewater, New Mexico,Tommy L. Begay of Thoreau, New Mexico, Robert Begay of Casamero Lake, New Mexico, Verna Yazzie of Crownpoint, New Mexico; Mother: Emma P. Jones of Borrego Pass, New Mexico; Sister: Anna Mitchell of Littlewater, New Mexico, Erma Hardy of Little Water, New Mexico, Lora Platero of Littlewater, New Mexico: Brothers: Tom Nez of Belen, New Mexico, Edward Jones of Littlewater, New Mexico, Eddie Jones, Jr. of Littlewater, New Mexico and Harrison Jones, Sr. of Littlewater, New Mexico; 16 Grandchildren and one Great Grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her father: Phillip Nez.
