Mary Alderete

Rosary and Funeral Mass for Mary Isabel Turningbear Alderete, 59 of Albuquerque, New Mexico will be held on Thursday-June 11, 2009-9:30 AM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park. The Very Rev. Alberto Avella will officiate.



Mary was born on September 13, 1949 in Sena, New Mexico and she passed away on June 7, 2009 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.



She is survived by her children: Rene Swanberg and husband Fabian Garcia of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Camille Melendez and husband Alex of Gallup, New Mexico; Sisters: Patsy Lopez of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Toni Lucero of Grants, New Mexico, Lorraine Sandoval and husband Donald of Bluewater, New Mexico; Brothers: Seferino Gallegos and wife Kay of Graham, Texas, Ruben Gallegos and wife Virginia of Austin, Nevada, Adelio Gallegos and wife Mara of Battle Mountain, Nevada, George Gallegos of Grants, New Mexico and Adam Gallegos and wife Georgia Salazar of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Grandchildren: Brooke Garcia and Janelle Garcia both of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Dakota Melendez and Cassidy Melendez both of Gallup, New Mexico; Godchildren: Wanda Nunez, Felicia DeHerrera and Marty Gallegos.



She is preceded in death by her parents: Elisa Gallegos and Atanacio Gallegos; Husbands: Jerry Alderete and Joel Turningbear.
